Fundraiser: Girls Night In at Local Gym

Last Thursday night the girls at local gym  ’Curves’ held a ‘Girls Night In’ to raise money for cancer research and raise money we certainly did.  Wow!!  What a night!  Three hours of fun and pampering.  Clairvoyant Readings (done by yours truly),  Spiritual Healing Sessions and Drumming, Massage, Astrology, Crystals, Facials, Food and lots of FUN.   The hours went by in the blink of an eye and we all walked out happily exhausted and on our way to get ready for another normal day, but I’m sure the magic of it has stayed with everyone as it has with me.

Nights like this are necessary to remind us of what is really important in life and how good you can feel by doing something you love for a good cause.  Well done to everyone.

Between now and Christmas life will be increasingly on the move so make sure you make a little time in your day to be thankful for all that you have in your life right now.  It’s all about the NOW!!  So be happy and

Voyager Tarot Cards

I know a lot of you love the Voyager Tarot Cards I use in my readings just as much as I do. Well about a year ago I flew to California to participate in a workshop with James Wanless the creator of the Voyager Tarot. We were 22 in all, which was quite ironic as there are 22 Major Acarna Cards in the deck.

Anyway off we sailed down the coast to Mexico. Our first stop was Catalina Island where we walked through the town and up a hill towards a labyrinth which we were going to walk. I was amazed as on the journey I passed a playground with a monument stone that read ‘Avalon, a park for children of all ages’. Even thousands of miles away from home and I found such familiar things to make me feel as though I had never left this wonderful place we call the Northern Beaches.

The journey we each made through the labyrinth was incredible for each one of us and we each took our own personal insights back to the ship. I ended up writing so many poems for the tarot cards that James pulled for all of us that day, that James and I are now working on a book together which we hope will be out sometime in the latter part of next year, so stay tuned.

Manly in the Grand Final

A lot has been happening this year. As some of you may know I have spent the past 8 years working as the resident Psychic in the Eagle Angels Lounge at Manly Warringah Football Club. This has been an exciting thing for me to do as I used to be a devout ‘none believer’ in the football thing, never having watched a game in my entire life. However over the past 8 years I have got to ‘read’ for thousands of wonderful people, yes thousands, scary isn’t it.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think of football and ‘fortune telling’ in the same space. It just goes to show you what happens when you think outside the box. If I had said no instead of yes I would have missed out on some incredible experiences, not to mention the people I have met.

I suppose what I am getting at here is if your head is saying no and your heart is saying …maybe, I’d go with the maybe every time. You never know where it will take you and the unexpected places are usually the best because we never saw them coming.

Getting back to the football, yes I did predict Manly winning their last premiership and also arriving in the 2011 Grand Final and of course I am going, so I hope to see some of you there on the weekend.

Weekend workshop on 24th September

The workshop last weekend on the 24th went fabulously with most of the attendees really surprising themselves at how ‘psychic’ they really are. The feedback they were getting and giving each other was just as exciting for me as well, as it really makes running these workshops so worthwhile. I like to think of the whole experience as a lot of fun, and try to make it so but that doesn’t mean we don’t have some serious work to do, and let’s not forget the delicious food. Way to go ladies.

The weather is warming up and it’s time to get out and shake off those winter woes. You may want to think about joining me for my next Intuitive Awareness Workshop on October 22nd. Depending how quickly we get through the day’s program we may even have time to test out some new oracle cards. But book early because spaces are strictly limited and go very quickly. This will be the second last one before we break for Christmas. Oops! Did I really say Christmas sorry, it comes upon us all too quickly as it is. Hope to see you soon.
